Kevin and Danielle Married

According to PEOPLE magazine Kevin and Danielle were married on December 19th, 2009 at Oheka Castle in Long Island. A blizzard threatened to ruin the festivities 400 family members and friends arrived as scheduled. Guests at the wedding stated the snow only made it look more like a winter wonderland. Decorations included a fairytale forest under heated white tents, complete with 14-foot trees draped in hydrangeas and crystals made to look like icicles. It was said that when Danielle descended the aisle Kevin couldn’t keep the grin off of his face! The best man dilemma was also solved by having both Nick and Joe sharing the duty. Congratulations Kevin and Danielle!

Joe Jonas Gets Nervous Too!

I know it’s hard to believe, but even Joe Jonas gets butterflies in his stomach! “It’s going to be really exciting,” Joe spilled to CTV, “We’re really happy for Kevin and Danni and I think, I don’t even know much about what is going to be happening but I know Kevin keeps trying to plan his own bachelor party and that’s not going to happen. Me and Nick are like ‘we are not going to let that happen.’ So we are going to figure out the right place and have fun and it’s going to be a good time. He wants to do golfing but that just seems a little too normal. We have to do something outrageous and fun. Something crazy.” Well, we don’t doubt for a SECOND that if Joe Jonas is part of the planning committee that Kevin’s bachelor party will be anything less than crazy fun! Can’t wait to see what you have in mind, Joe!

Nick’s Simple Wins

On August 24th I had the honor of addressing the National Press Club in Washington, DC on behalf of Bayer. My goal was to once again increase diabetes awareness by speaking publicly about my experience, encourage education, and help raise funds for research and other programs for young people with diabetes. The more opportunities I have to talk and get the word out about diabetes, the more people will know about it, become invested in it and hopefully, we will come that much closer to a cure.

I was able to tell that audience about my desire to help others and how I had realized I’ve been given a platform to speak out to encourage and inspire those living with diabetes. Reaching out and sharing my story is one of the ways I can give back to others. My brothers and I also started the Change for the Children Foundation where we give to organizations that help children. Last year alone we raised over 1 million dollars for charities that are close to our hearts. These funds went to such organizations including pediatric diabetes research, education and treatment, as well as diabetes camps.

I have used Bayer’s CONTOUR meter this summer while on tour, other people like my parents and crew can carry the test strips to make sure I always have the tools to test regularly. On tour I have been able to create a support system around me; you will be amazed at how much it will help you manage your diabetes. Don’t be afraid to lean on those close to you to help you with those high and low days.

Just recently I went to a Jonas Brothers Concert. It was awesome. Honor Society and the Wondergirls performed a few songs to open up.Then the Jonas Brothers came out and started the show! They played tons of songs. They were off of their self titled album Jonas Brothers, A Little Bit Longer, and Lines Vines and Trying Times. There were tons of cool features in the concert. One was multicolored laser lights. They projected in different shapes like leaves (for Poison Ivy), Zebra Print, and even the Jonas Brothers logo. Another cool feature was the rotating stage! You got a chance to see all the Jonas Brothers so that was an awesome feature. I also liked the water screen in Love Bug.It was super cool. Hope you get to go see the Jonas Brothers in concert sometime soon.

Jonas Interveiw

Recently the Jonas Brothers were interviewed by PopEater. The interveiw was interesting! Here it is…..

“Our fans have been outside the hotel, and they’re just nuts,” Kevin says. “There were maybe 2,000 of them out there all night, chanting!”

Did they get any sleep?

“Actually, I had a great night’s sleep,” says Nick. “I slept for 12 hours!”

“It’s like they were singing us to sleep,” adds Joe.

Why did you choose ‘Paranoid’ as the single?

Nick: It’s just a great song to play live, and whenever the fans hear it, they’re just amazing — they sing every word. We’re so thankful the response has been so awesome.

Is the song autobiographical?

Kevin: Out of all of the songs on the album, we feel like this was one that was more of a general song. We started out with the concept of paranoia and decided to see what it was like if we threw ourselves in the shoes of someone who was experiencing it.

Describe the video’s the premise.

Nick: There are three different scenarios, and they’re all kind of rising out of this one situation. We’re all in different hallways that lead us elsewhere. So I have the car chase scene, Joe is in a wrestling ring and Kevin is seeing himself in different scenarios and it’s freaking him out.

How’d you come up with the concept?

Joe: While we were sitting around recording the song, we started coming up with ideas for how to translate it into a video, and then [directors] Tim Wheeler and Brendan Malloy presented their idea, and it was was dead on. They took a rough idea, and they really nailed it.

From when you shot your first video to now, you guys have experienced an incredible ascent. Is there any difference in the process of shooting now?

Nick: We’re always trying to one up ourselves. For example, for the tour we’re going on this summer, we’re going to have a stage that’s bigger and better than last summer. We’re always looking to do things bigger and better for our fans, and the video was the same thing. We worked with Tim and Brendan on the video for ‘Burning Up,’ and we had such a great time with them that we knew we wanted to work with them again, but we wanted to do more. There’s definitely a sense of competition with ourselves going on.

But in a healthy way?

Nick: Definitely!

Share one fun behind-the-scenes story with us.

Joe: There’s a scene where I’m in a wrestling ring, and I had to wrestle these two guys who were actually professionals. It was a little scary at times. You can imagine what it’s like to have two 200-pound men running at you full force.

Does this mean you’re not going to pursue a career in professional wrestling?

Joe: It may happen.

I wonder if that last answer was true? I’d love to watch Joe pursue a career in professional wrestling!!! It would be exciting to watch!

Night at the Museum

Have you seen night at the museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian? The Jonas Brothers were in a scene and had a song in the movie. I read in the newspaper this morning that the movie made $70 million dollars over the Memorial Day weekend. I wonder if that had something to do with the Jonas Brothers being in it?

World Tour Kick-off

Yesterday the Jonas brothers kicked off their World Tour in Lima, Peru When i was listening to Ryan Seacrest on the radio he started talking about them. He said they literally stopped traffic! He also said if you want to see a video of it you can go to www.ryanseacrest.com or www.tigerbeatmag.com.I just watched the video and the brothers and Demi Lovato decided to surprise the fans and came out on their balcony to say hey! It was crazy! As soon a the fans saw them you could hear the screams keep building up louder and louder!!! Their had to be easily over 1,000 fans and the were lining the streets and standing inside the streets. It was AMAZING!!!!!!

Jonas Goes to London

Yesterday was the Jonas Brothers LAST DAY in London promoting their 3-D movie. They are coming back to the U.S. just long enough to leave again for the kick off of their WORLD TOUR in South America. They wrote a letter to all of their fans telling ALL about it. Here it is……

Hey everyone!

Today is our last day in London. We are in the middle of another day of press and then we leave in a couple hours for the UK Premiere of our 3D Movie. We are excited to see the fans and also see the movie again.

Joe’s New Hair

Have you seen Joe’s new haircut? It looks like he is going for a look more like his brothers with a little bit of wave! Everybody seems to like it. What do you think? Joe’s hair certainly has changed over the past few years. As a matter of fact all of the Jonas Brothers have changed their hair! Joe went from spiky and straight up to straight and long, and then to short and wavy. While Nick went from log and curly to shorter and still curly. Kevin started out with his hair all spiky, to long and straight, and then to his natural curls. They sure have changed!

OMG!! Last night the Kid’s Choice Awards aired live on Nick! The Jonas Brothers won the award for Favorite Music Group!(no surprise!) They also performed SOS and Burnin’ Up! Radio Disney Review

Did you guys check out the Jonas Brothers when they took over Radio Disney? It was awesome! They had fans waiting outside the studio when they got there! Somebody asked about Frankie and how he was. World Tour Secrets

Are you dying to know more about the Jonas Brothers World Tour? Well we’ve got the scoop! As their opening acts the brothers will be bringing Jordin Sparks and Honor Society. It has also been said there will be a circular water screen, colorful lasers, and all around seating because their goal is to try to reach all the fans even the people in the back row! Catch the Jonas Brothers on SNL This Week

The Jonas Brothers have captured the hearts of many devoted fans – but the heartthrob musicians only have eyes for Alec Baldwin this Valentine’s Day.

The Brothers, who rocked the Grammy stage with Stevie Wonder last weekend, are primed for their first-ever Saturday Night Live appearance on Saturday. The show will be hosted by Baldwin.

The Jonas Brothers, who of course plan to sing, confess to PEOPLE that they are secretly hoping to get the chance to appear in a sketch with Baldwin.

“He’s so hilarious on 30 Rock. It would be really cool if we could do that with him,” Joe Jonas tells PEOPLE. “He’s the best.”

Adds Nick: “We met him at the Golden Globes and he was really awesome. We’re just so excited. We’re up for whatever.”
